At Baan Lao, we wish to have our guests enjoy the exquisite flavours Chef Nutcha Phanthoupheng has carefully created for your dining experience. Alterations to the menu may compromise the taste and integrity of our Baan Lao dining experience. As such, we strive to make the fewest number of changes possible to each delicious dish.
For our “From The Fields of Thailand To The Shores of Canada” Signature Dinner Experience, we are unable to accommodate any substitutions.
For our “Taste of Baan Lao” menu, we are able to accommodate requests for:
Gluten-free
Dairy-free
Pescatarian
No shrimp, but not allergic to shellfish
We are currently unable to accommodate requests for:

𝙓 Shellfish-Free
Note: We are able to remove the shellfish from our dishes, for guests who prefer no shellfish. However, a number of our home-made sauces contain shrimp paste. We are unable to safely accommodate guests with a severe shellfish allergy.
Given the complexity and diversity of our menu, we cannot guarantee our supply chain, kitchen and preparation areas remain nut or shellfish free. As such, we have made the difficult decision that we are unable to accommodate guests where cross-contamination may trigger a reaction.
Guests requesting minor adjustments to accommodate food sensitivities may submit their request via the pre-visit questions you will receive upon completing your reservation. All requests must be made at least 5 days in advance of your dining experience. If we are unable to accommodate your request, our reservation concierge will contact you.
