Chef Nutcha Phanthoupheng, Proprietor and Chef of the award-winning Baan Lao Fine Thai Cuisine restaurant was inaugurated into the Vancouver Chapter of La Chaine des Rôtisseurs in November 2022.
Awarded the title of Maître Rôtisseur, Chef Phanthoupheng became the first Thai chef in Canada, and the second Asian female chef in Canada to achieve that designation.
